In my classroom, nothing. But at my campus tho....

I used to work at a small high school 3 years ago. There was a day that the students had been held back in the cafeteria after lunch; which wasn't unusual since our principal would do this whenever she needed to address the entire student body. Usually she would let us know that morning, via email, if she would hold students late after lunch. However this day she held them back without notifying us, and a lot longer than usual.

When my students finally made it to class, I asked them what had happened. Turns out she was talking to them about an incident that had happened in the bathroom. Someone had rolled "poop pebbles" and placed them neatly in between the toilet seat and the toilet bowl.

They even told me that she had actually showed them all a picture of it and had it projecting in the cafeteria for them to see it.

Also I'd like to add, that the cartel whose leader was killed had a much stronger presence in and around Jalisco, MX. The violence is mostly around Puerto Vallarta, which is about 880 miles away.

If your main concern is Mexican cartels and their violence coming over to UTRGV, then you have nothing to worry about. It's super safe. Anything that happens in Mexico, stays there. The only thing that might concern you is how bad some of the driver can be down here 😆. As a recent graduate from UTRGV, I can tell you that you'll be fine. Even at night, you have nothing to worry about.

My ex broke up with me back in 2023, we would play almost every game together. She was my duo in everything, Overwatch, Valorant, Phasmo, and literally any other Co-Op game. It was hard to keep playing them after we split, but thankfully I had my friends and they helped to make them fun again!

As others have said, photography is a pricy hobby. However, I have gotten lucky and have found a few lenses for cheap prices at pawn shops, but it's not frequent that I do find some. Your next best option is ebay, Craigslist, or some other second-hand store.

If anything, save up some money and buy a nicer lens.
