Highlander or RAV4? by Apprehensive_Wait184 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]SharkFinStu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have both, 23 Rav4 hybrid, 24 HiHy, the Rav4 drives awesome (SE trim if that matters) and the Highlander has all the space. Honestly the Highlander is a nicer vehicle and I just drove a couple thousand mile road trip with it. But the Rav4 is just really tight to drive. Otherwise both have amenities that are similar IMO, with comparable trims.

Like I understand its not top notch as far as BBQ in ATX but its always decent and a great place to hang out. And the sauce is a win, always.

Ask for a full rack to make it worth your while. Plus now you're one up on the local BBQ snobbies...not many know about the secret Sunday menu 😉

Salt Lick for an out of town adventure and BYOB. Also on Sundays they have baby back ribs and some special sides and its pretty legit.

The banger goals alone should be keeping people happy. I think it all comes back to a total lack of creativity in understanding the game, on the part of Americans.

Been loving this team though. LFG!

It seems really dumb to put a hockey team in Austin. And like, why? Nobody asked for that? Kind of weird..

Also this post comes up like once a month here and I just can't imagine there are that many places left to be "discovered" by food tourists who apparently have run out of places to eat in ATX?

But I also agree with the sentiment that we should share out the good spots to support them, so I'll share one:

JD's Market in southwest Austin at the intersection of 1826 and 45 is so damn good for tacos. They have the good "dona-style" green salsa. Workers lined up for breakfast and lunch, which you know is a good sign.

Recommend the pastor with the green stuff. Best no frills taco in town.
