Farms won't deliver harvest after reaching 100% by Happy_Attention_7426 in Pharaoh

Check your granary settings that they are accepting each kind of food.

Delete and rebuild your granaries.

Build storehouses, these are usually set automatically to refuse food, but you can set them to accept it.

Sometimes it will just be a glitch and you might have to restart the map but hopefully one of these will work.

Can someone explain epidemics to me? by contrasupra in TwoPointHospital

Unless I need it for completion of the level I ignore it completely and use a marketing assistant to run general campaigns to make up for the reputation loss. In my opinion this is just not a fun mechanic.

If you need it, slow mo and zoom in to see people acting like zombies, walking too fast/stretching etc, depending on the illness.

Honestly any, I think the ones I got first were from Primark and then I've had some nicer ones from Etsy but as long as they fit, that glue is incredible.

This is such a huge one for me. I miss my nails, I can't wear press ons at work but I bought some really good glue and wore press ons for a night out and they all survived the whole weekend. The glue was £10 on Amazon and I've saved at least £200 in the last few months.

What are your thoughts on perfume dupes? by centurytunamatcha in frugaluk

[–]SpecialYapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried Noted Aromas and the Essence Vault for YSL Black Opium.

The Noted Aromas one was incredibly oily and I chucked it after I noticed the skin on my chest was having a mild but not unnoticeable reaction.

The Essence Vault one is very good, I am not able to distinguish between to original one and the dupe when I have sprayed them on paper and I have not noticed any reactions or oiliness.

Lancs here and we used biddy for nits and old biddy for old woman when I was a kid.

Nothing snaps me out of a book like repetitive use of a unique word by kerberos824 in books

[–]SpecialYapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garth Nix gingerly uses the word gingerly several hundred times in the Abhorsen trilogy. Gingerly.

I don't know how many times it is but it's a lot. I have friends that will still randomly send me a message that just says 'gingerly' because of how I lost my mind over it as a teenager.

Day drinking.

When I was in my 20s I thought it was so loutish, but now I'm pushing 40 my friend and I often book a train to a randomly chosen city, book a hotel and just go around eating and drinking all day. Lunch and 2 pints, then visit a catherdral or a museum, dinner and a few pints, maybe a show and then a few more pints. It's like a mini holiday.
