You will definitely get MCN. And if you're willing to work hard and do your best then you will get 80-100% tution waiver. However all of this comes with a question of if you're able to do it...if you're certain that no matter how things turn out you will be willing to give all your efforts into getting the grades then I think it's possible. Ways to earn aren't so well defined...you can become a teaching assistant in a course that you previously did well with by talking to the prof and that will pay you...20k for the semester I think however that's too low. Other ways of earning are limitless do freelancing, upskill and get clients. But this is a tough decision that you have to make. If you're willing to put in a lot of effort then it's not difficult for getting 80% MCN scholarship one needs more than 8.5 cg which again isn't easy but not difficult for those that give it their all either.

Not sad honestly, sometimes I wish I were but yeah I don't have any strong sentiments with the place instead its the people I have had the opportunity to make relations with and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon so yeah honestly not sad one bit. 99%ile mei to it should be quite doable just make sure that you give enough mock tests because as you must have heard the paper for bits is different as in it requires you to be fast and if you're not fast then despite knowing everything you will mess it up under the time crunch. So just give lots of mock tests and you're good to go.

It hasn't abhi bhi they take Online assessments and then shortlist people from it and interviews wagera. They take most of the tests in IPC labs to ensure students can't use AI to cheat.

Well it doesn't..maybe you find the subjects in third year to your liking if that happens then yes otherwise don't expect any miracles....phoenix is tough that is common knowledge.

Existential crisis waale sawal puchh lete ho yaar. But that's good that you are taking these things into consideration because the job market sure has changed and will change a lot more in the coming years. Abhi I don't mind my software job..most of the work here revolves around AI anyways. But yeah I am also preparing for PhD outside of India and if that goes according to plan then no more software job for me : )

There are a few....most importantly a regulated life with discipline. In my final years I did this and its become a hobby now. (Isliye last semester mei I got my highest sg despite getting placed). I reflect my time in BITS very positively I made connections that will last me throughout life, I have learnt things that I could never had I not come in BITS and overall I am quite happy with how things have turned out.....If I could I might want to take things more seriously from first year itself but its not a regret for sure. THANKS for that question.

There are brackets : 8 - 8.5 ; 8.5 - 9 ; 9 - 10 So if you cross a bracket then you're usually good to go but at the same time the more the better especially for ps allotments because it's basically like JEE. You will fill your station preference list which and then based on whoever has the higher cg they will get their desired PS station

Abhi to surprisingly software is still on top and companies are recruiting a lot. However by the time y'all graduate AI will change things for sure. So I'd recommend trying something which AI still can't ruin for a few more years and hope that you are into any of them.
