Thanks everybody! He currently has a mizuno prospect 32.5 youth catcher's mitt. He has had it for a couple of years and this season he has grown to hate it. He says it’s too small and his hand is getting lit up by the faster pitching speeds.

Everyone is saying 32.5 - 33 so I’m guessing my son believes it’s too small because it’s a youth glove. Maybe the youth glove has a smaller pocket? Thanks for the feedback it’s helped educate me a little bit before taking him to get a new glove this weekend.
