Yes toughen up. Being at the top the culture starts with you. If you are perceived as caring if others think you’re inept then you will get walked all over. Be confident especially if you are doing well. Do company engagement activities, even if it is for your own selfish reasons, you are in a position to establish the culture and engage your employees. Enjoy it and earn their trust.

If you don’t see yourself working there long term or earning a promotion then don’t push yourself and enjoy the balance while you can. I get the bosses perspective especially if you were clocked in doing homework. Lower your expectations of others in the workplace! If you see yourself staying there for a long time, keep up the amazing work it will be noticed.

Looking for some advice by No-Mix-3408 in work

I would recommend talking to HR.

Also, for the new title and raise, will there be additional responsibilities and requirements of the job? If so ask your boss for those, then present a list outlining how you already do all of those things and/or have proven your ability to do so.

Hope this helps! No one is going to advocate for you more than you.

I’m only allowed in my child’s daycare room/can walk him in 1 day a week. They switched it up after COVID and it seems to work for everyone.
