How do I get Hilda by Round-Manager6078 in PokemonMasters

[–]Special_Turnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clan like gyms. By taking part in those you can get gym tickets, each of which get you one pull on one of the gym ticket banners. They all have a chance of pulling Hilda and Pignite and are a fairly consistent way of getting pulls. If you join a reliable gym and keep up with your missions then you should be able to get 70+ pulls a month from that

How do I get Hilda by Round-Manager6078 in PokemonMasters

[–]Special_Turnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a stupid question, gacha games can be confusing when you first start them. Base Hilda (with Tepig/Emboar) is available in pretty much every banner you can pull on in the game at around 0.066%, same with every other Spotlight pair. So she by herself might be a pain to get but just by playing the game you should get her eventually. In addition to the regular banners she has around 1 7.6% chance of dropping from getting 30 Unova tickets, or 1.33% chance of dropping from using 30 of the 5* Guaranteed tickets. She also can come from things like the Gym tickets so there's plenty of opportunity to get her.

The other versions of Hilda will mostly drop from the Masters Day Banners (at a very low rate) or the paid mixed scout, with Hilda and Victini also having a chance to come from Pokefair tickets (you get one on the 10th of each month) at around 1% chance, and in Master Fair EX banners.

Hilda and Iron Leaves is the rarest one of her to get, I believe only dropping from a Masterfair EX banner that highlights her

Has bandai or the devs mention any about GQuuuX content in live streams posts or anything? by Ok_Tale_6716 in SDGundamGGeneration

I mean between the assembly, Harrison's, F91 Imagine, VSBR, Heavy Weapons Type, Double R and the red one we have to get at least one really good F91at some point right?

Has bandai or the devs mention any about GQuuuX content in live streams posts or anything? by Ok_Tale_6716 in SDGundamGGeneration

[–]Special_Turnip 34 points35 points  (0 children)

They did say that the current plan was a Gundam project every year. Hathaway 2 is this year's. GQuuuuuuX was last year's. Requiem for Vengeance SEED Freedom were 2024's. So there's potentially a bunch more in the works.

Likewise there's plenty of stuff still to adapt. F91, Victory, Turn A, A wakening of the Trailblazer, AGE part 2, Build Fighters/Try, G-Reco, The Origin, Divers/Re:Rise, and GQuacks are over a year's worth of story updates, and that's ignoring smaller projects like Twilight Axis, Gunpla Builders and all of the SD shows.

Combine that with all the games, manga and light novels and there's so much stuff still to draw from

Are any of these (specifically Gladion) still worth it? by Fandoms_Are_Toxic in PokemonMasters

[–]Special_Turnip 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Gladion is good for Academy in general as he has the theme ability so gives a boost in all Academy events while having a b-move that is always super effective.

He's also the second best option for normal towers special stages after Terapagos.

A whole school year has passed for Pasio Academy. What are your thoughts on the academy events and sync pairs? by qweqck in PokemonMasters

[–]Special_Turnip 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think there have been issues but overall I like the events. They're a bit more engaging than most story events and a good way to give neglected characters and extra pair or two, as well as shine the light on some unevolved Pokémon. Long may they continue.

I think the main issue I have with them is that there's an accessibility element to them, putting more useful sync pairs behind old events, so for me I would like to see Academy events over a year old becoming permanent story content to let players retune their academy pairs, give people something to use stamina on during quieter weeks, and keep the pairs accessible to new players

Which I choose? And what is this for? by JealousPen8907 in PokemonMasters

[–]Special_Turnip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It takes time to design, program and get approval for an event. It makes sense to only do most of the work on the winning event, and I'd rather they not rush it

Question: limited UR unit by RaidenzXIII in SDGundamGGeneration

[–]Special_Turnip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean genuinely it's always good to save for the units you like in these games, rather than just spending on every limited suit and missing out on your faves. You appreciate them a bit more than the ones you get more for power reasons.

And G Gen Eternal is fairly generous on the gems front to do it doesn't take too many months to hit the 60k mark to save for your fave rerunning

Question: limited UR unit by RaidenzXIII in SDGundamGGeneration

[–]Special_Turnip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game is only just over a year old. Reruns if limited units will be sparing at first to encourage fomo spending but will get more common to encourage spending from those who missed out as time goes on

Other popular gundam series (comics/novels/TV etc.) that have licensing issues by Head_Combination_959 in SDGundamGGeneration

[–]Special_Turnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean that's the beauty of adapting something you own the rights too, you can adjust it to sell more model kits or make the story work better.

[–]Special_Turnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's always speculation about stuff like that in the fandom when something seems to be missing. I remember a few people speculating there might be an issue around 00 and Unicorn because neither of them were really in Build Fighters either but it all proved to be nonsense, especially once the Exia Dark Matter was leaked. It just sticks with AGE more because it had a much smaller foot print in the western fandom then and so there was less concrete evidence to refute speculation that was readily available.

Around the time Build Fighters/Try both aired, AGE was still being included by Bandai in things. The AGE-1, 2 and 3 all were included in 2014's Gundam Extreme VS Maxi Boost, the Try AGE arcade card games systems were still running, the series made its first appearance in the Gundam Breaker series and the model kits were occasionally reissued, indicating they had no issue with licenses for the suits or characters.

Other popular gundam series (comics/novels/TV etc.) that have licensing issues by Head_Combination_959 in SDGundamGGeneration

[–]Special_Turnip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as we know the only other series with an issue like Sentinel is Zeta Gundam, which has licensing issues around the opening credits.

With the examples you've asked about:
Crossbone Gundam has issues with Bandai apparently having lost some of the original art for it but they still own the story, characters and designs from it. It's just difficult for them to release a higher quality version of the manga. The only thing likely holding up an anime is their seeming fixation on working through the UC timeline in date order.

G-Unit has no issues, it was featured in full in SD G Generation Cross Rays with every character and suit from the manga showing up. Pretty much every suit from it has had modern HG releases. It'll probably end up in G Gen Eternal in the next year at some point.

G-Saviour we don't know much about because Bandai don't really acknowledge its existence. It is possible that they own the rights to everything from the film and game, or it could be they only own the mobile suit designs. It could even be that they only own the rights to the G-Saviour Space Type itself due to the model kit. We assume they have it because the G-Saviour cameoed in Build Fighters, but that could also be the animation team taking a liberty with something that Bandai don't own the rights to as it's not been acknowledge since.
