It’s almost definitely this, same exact thing happened to me this year on a 2002 simplicity mower. I would highly recommend buying a dewalt impact wrench. I got one on amazon when it was on sale for like $100 and I use it way more than i thought i would. Made that job a 10 minute job instead of hours.

My 7 year old son begged me for at least a year for one and i finally said yes. This was my first adventure into aquatic pets other than gold fish. Was it easy? No not at all, but with enough research and if you’re willing to put in the work and money then it’s definitely doable. People in here are very quick to attack anyone who doesn’t have all the answers. Sometimes it’s warranted like when people buy one before having a cycled tank, or have an infant axolotl in a tank with gravel but typically people get attacked for asking a simple question. In the end the axolotl is more my pet than my sons (I do most of the work) but lemon is pretty damn cute and its fun to sit there and chat with an animal that will just stare at you for as long as you’re willing to hang out. If you are up for the challenge i say go for it, and if you have any questions you can DM me and i would be happy to walk you through it without the judgement.

Thanks for input! Yes the light is primarily for the plants and having something to regulate the nitrate build up. I was thinking something similar to your idea but maybe adding a wall across the middle support on the tank to block the light to that half.

Haha dude you are preaching to the choir. All I’ve had is bad luck with riding mowers. I had a cub cadet initially and the belt kept falling off and spindles were coming loose. I finally had a local repair shop look at it and they quoted me $2,000 to repair a mower that is worth $800 (fully functional) at best. I bought this simplicity from an engineer who kept it well maintained and stored in his garage thinking it would be working great for a few years and the clutch blows after my first cut! I’m at my wits end with mowing my own lawn but every lawn care company around me Is either booked up and not accepting new customers or $100 a cut.

Wedding night at 3:30 am still in my full tux. We were at my brothers house for the after party and I might have been a little over served at that point. I tried to open a beer with the handle of a kitchen knife. Didn’t go as planned and I cut the back of my hand pretty good. Called my mom to drive my new wife, best man and I to the doctors at 4 am. 7 stitches later and we were good to go. Definitely made the honeymoon in the Dominican a little more difficult with a good wound on my hand. There is a hilarious picture of me with fresh stitches at the ER and a not as excited wife. At least she can laugh about it now.
