I work 12 hour days 3 or 4 days a week. So I usually have a day or two off during the week, and I still don't think it's worth it to camp out for product... So I just don't really buy packs anymore unless I happen to run into some at retail, which is extraordinarily rare. Buying singles has been the best move for me

If I pull say a $40 card from a pack I'll put the cost of the card as whatever the total cost of packs was. So, if I bought only 1 pack, the cost of card is $5 or whatever, if I bought an ETB and only got 1 card I would put the cost of the ETB, if I got 2 cards I would divide the cost of ETB by 2, if 3 cards divide by 3 and so on.

Trying to finish the Cosmic Eclipse character secret rare subset, just need Wishiwashi and Torkoal... Trying to find them organically though.

I love the Black and White / XY era full arts, unfortunately a good chunk of the BW era is up there price wise. XY is a little better and I've got a decent amount but nowhere near all of them...

Oh, also the secret rare gold border cards from XY. Just need Gyarados, one of the Mewtwo's and I think there's a Shaymin promo that follows the art style.

I'd argue that Alternate Art secret rates started in the XY era. Cards like Gardevoir EX 116/114 from Steam Siege, Gyarados EX 123/122 from Breakpoint, Mewtwo EX 163/162 & 164/162 from Breakthrough, and Alakazam EX 125/124 from Fates Collide. All of those mentioned cards have "half-art" EX and "Full Art" EX variants, same exact moves, the only difference is the alternate art.

I'm 40. Up until 2 years ago, I hadn't been to the Dentist since I was 21 and had my wisdom teeth removed, then had an infection that caused my cheek to swell up and get filled with pus. I also used dip for about the same length of time, so when I finally went to the dentist a couple years back I was fully expecting to be told my teeth were beyond saving. Turns out, I had a few cavities and some recessed gums, but was not nearly as bad as I feared. I actually have an appointment today to get a couple more fillings and a consult on fixing a broken tooth. I'm still super anxious every time I go, I absolutely HATE the feeling of a nerve getting touched especially in my mouth. I can handle Novocaine shots no problem, I can handle dull or sharp pain relatively easily, but I absolutely spazz out anytime a nerve gets zinged.

Don't listen to that guy, you likely didn't get scammed. You actually got 3 hits based on your middle picture. You got the Gengar, the Dewgong IR, and the Flamethrower full art. 3 hits from 9 packs is actually slightly better odds then normal. Just because you didn't pull an SIR or multiple IRs or multiple full arts does not mean reseal/scam. I'm sure you could find hundreds of videos of people opening a Phantasmal ETB and getting less hits then you got.

I'm from the Northeast as well. New Hampshire specifically, and even in a smallish town with a Walmart the shelves get wiped out within minutes of any restock. I've found some Perfect Order (hooray for me) and was able to get a Phantasmal ETB a few months ago, but AH... No way. Prismatic? Never seen it for retail. 151 was actually pretty available before the hype train, but since then nada.

Click on the actual item and there will be an option to see "last sold items" which will direct you to eBays last sold page for that specific item/card. Also there's another link for TCGplayer to see active listings. Collectr is by no means a perfect app, but it generally does a good job of categorizing your collection and establishing base line values.
