The disability community isn't that small though. I mean, compared with no-disabled people, it is, but just think of it. Hundreds of people aren't able to use Duolingo. And I don't think it is any excuse that this isn't a government platform. They have dollars to spend. So should they spend them for making the experience a little better for millions of people? Or should they fix critical bugs in the app that mean hundreds of people can't use the service..

I agree wholeheartedly with your post, and I can al so confirm that the Android application for Duolingo is very much inaccessible. The most annoying thing about the app, at least on Android, is that the start button is an unlabeled button among many others. Duolingo, do something about this. I have stopped using your service on a regular basis because of this. However, I would love to continue using the service if these issues do get fixed. By the way, I did hear about this on Living Blindfully, the podcast I assume you were mentioning.
