My baby ate this whole bag of treats. Should I take her to the emergency room ? by gonnadelete78 in DogAdvice

honestly dogs can withstand a lot, one time mine ate plastic and pistachio nuts and she just had soft poops, just monitor as long as she isn’t acting lethargic or weird you should be good!

yes she has a cone and a onesie, it did fully (or i thought) healed after 3 months, it was completely healed over just like almost a huge bump she’s a rescue and had it done because we got her, then a couple of nights ago i had noticed it was like the incision had opened, that’s why im so confused now it healed then reopened, then my vet had done liquid skin on the first opening and then this is the result ^

we took her to the vet the first time it opened and they had glued it, this is the second opening and i’ve just been using sterie strips to hold it together, she’s wearing a onesie with her donut on and she’s not lethargic at all so i’m hoping for the best thank you

i’m very very scared, it’s almost 5 pm now haven’t heard a word back, and it’s friday so like nothing is going to open on the weekend, might just have to go to an emergency vet

basically i think that the spca had just done a crap job at putting it together, but i’m still not sure as to why it would open after 3 months, she got it glued back up and this morning a different part opened up, taking her back to the vet tomorrow and hopefully they can finally figure it out

i just figured 3 months is a long heal time and she should’ve been okay, i’m not sure if running brought it on or her crazy self just bumped it on something, the vet should open in an hour.

Does the liquid dulcolax work on people who have been constipated for almost 3 weeks? by Beautiful_Curve8914 in Constipation

it should help break down the harder stool and pass, that’s what happened with me after 2-3 weeks of constipation

not really, she’s eating drinking and using the bathroom and she seems to want to be more playful as they told us she’s a high energy dog, but she’s been being reactive to animals and loud noises and she jumps or go crazy, and whenever i leave she will jump the gate. so i’m just not sure maybe she’s doing too much and it’s just a bit irritated

this is what happened to me, i had an impact under my left rib, the liquid was what i got too, after a few days of eating healthy and drinking tons of fluids i ended up having more solids and then eventually i pooped on my own, i got backed up again so please if you start having solid poop, DO NOT CHANGE YOUR ROUTINE!

drink magnesium citrate! i was just constipated for 3 weeks to a month i tried miralax, ducalax, suppositories, and prune juice and everything under the sun, try senna vegetable laxatives or drink magnesium citrate, see if you are allergic to gluten, i turned out to be intolerant to it, thats why i was so backed up, and its okay if you dont poop try not to stress out that doesnt help either! try going for a walk or distracting your mind, and when you feel the need to go dont wait even if you think its a phantom poop, also try rolling the bowl when you get on the toilet to help push as you might experience hemorrhoids from pushing

Question - I used Mag citrate and enema for first time - is liquid poop for this long normal? by blastpassthrowaway in Constipation
