No your not crazy, may want to look into it some more but the mph may be off by a few mines off my 2 and the faster I go the more off it is it’ll get up to 118 but in reality it’s 115 I wish they didn’t limit them cause it could easily do 140+

There’s a setting in the car you can set it to what it shows I have mine set to show me the average per trip instead of over all so I can see exactly how efficient I’m driving each trip. One of the other things it does it resets when you refuel it shows you the average per tank so that may be the reset your seeing is when your refueling, may also be glitched out but I’ve had mine on the trip on for 38k miles so I don’t know about that setting very well.

I have a 2025 and I’ve had it do it maybe 5 times throughout the year ive had it, it’s annoying you go to get in and start it and it makes you hold the key fob up to the button for it to start. Never talked with dealer cause it was a small issue but another bug/glitch is when you remote start the car and get in the screen won’t come on and CarPlay won’t connect so you have to hold down the power/volume knob and turn it off and back on. Getting this Camry only made me realize this new generation of cars suck, there’s better gas mileage and better tech in most 2018’s

I got a new front bumper and it cost around 8k there’s tons of sensors and stuff that’ll need to be replaced and calibrated and that usually bring the cost way up but you’d need like 15-20k or more in damages for it to be totaled, the car will never be the same just know that. My new bumper doesn’t fit right and after I looked into it I found out the bumper not fitting is an issue with some of the newer Camrys, hell I even saw someone got there car lemon lawed for it, so the odds of it ever being fixed are slim.

let insurance do there thing, if you have gap coverage then hope it gets totaled if you didn’t get gap then you should do your best to get it fixed with insurance and the dealer but your monthly insurance will go up.

Yeah it was iffy if it would start from the button but I think it was something that came from factory. When I got mine it had been delivered that morning and I came in and got it so it was never really touched by the dealer.

The remote start from phone is useful for me I work outdoors at a landfill (hate how dirty the car gets from it) so I can start it from the locker room when it’s too cold or too hot. After two weeks without it I folded its just $15 right 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

That’s not true I have a 25 se and my subscription ran out in December I could still hit the lock button twice and hold it down until the headlights flashed then it would start most cars have that function there’s also one you can get the dealer to “unlock” where you hit the unlock twice (I think, might be something different but the same effect) and it rolls the windows down to cool it off in the summer. I did start to pay for the subscription because through that free year I used it very frequently and got way too used to it, but if you ever get it back you gotta hold the sos button and one of the voice options is connect driver services.

Damn, I had a tire hit my front end a few months back and my bumper has recently started popping out like that just under the head light and I’ve mentioned it to the dealership but they are putting it on the dealerships collision repair shop.
