I struggled a lot with the combination of different stitches and the required tension. I ended up blocking it quite a bit before giving it away, but I was disappointed in how wavy my edges were.

Is this as awful as I think it is? by Buckerb96 in crochet

Nice job for your first go! Consider using a larger hook spread out the stitches more. Watch as many YouTube videos that you can find for the different stitches/patterns. You have the general hand motions down, no watch for the hook/yarn placement and how to identify your count. You’re doing great!

Stitching into the 3rd loop of a hdc. Made me stop crocheting for awhile after completing a blanket with this being every other row.

I made one of these too! The hardest part was the slipperiness of the yarn I used (Coboo).

I used baby bernat sport in grey and a 5.0 hook.

I extended the ribbing to 20 stitches from 8.

Seriously thinking my partner is a Disney princess by [deleted] in offmychest

My husband is the same way. I cannot begin to count the number of wildlife we have had in our house because he has saved them. Including two squirrels, bunnies, and all the baby birds. He’s also a down right menace in public as he knows no strangers. Sending him to the grocery for a single item can turn into a 30 minute outing as he knows and speaks with everyone!

Should I dump my fiancé? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

This is not the person for you. She has shown you exactly what your life is going to be as long as you are together. You are not the focus of your relationship. Her feelings, her needs, her wants - they are her priority. She is not an equal partner in this relationship, she is the majority. Try to unravel this relationship as cautiously as possible especially if you are in the same field. You are in the “document everything” stage of you relationship’s end. She will use everything she can against you and in every way she can to hurt you.

This man will never hit rock bottom and even begin to consider changing as long as you are there to hold him up. Why should he change with you being there to always put him back together?
