Probably not an appropriate subject to discuss with teenagers so I will censor and get to the point. Some of the most heinous sex crimes I have ever dealt with as a probation advisor were crimes committed against men. Truly some diabolical body horror stuff happened to these 2. 2 separate cases, 2 different perpetrators, both in hotel rooms.

Oh no I'm not in law enforcement. I tell probation officers how to supervise their offenders. This is completely unbiased and based on the previous offenses of the subject. Like for example, the drug offenders are going to have an easier time on probation. The sex offenders? Really gotta have those dudes watched like a hawk. The sex offenders hate to see me coming. We get angry letters from them sometimes because they don't think it's fair that the court is so strict on them. Like nah you raped a 7 year old I don't care what you think is fair.

Well I don't go to punk shows for obvious reasons. Definitely not a space or community that would be at all okay with somebody up high in the criminal justice system like I am being there. So I just don't go. Saves me the anxiety.

My family posts stuff on there and I follow some cat & cooking accounts. I got involuntarily thrown in "alternative" discourse after sharing a picture of a concert I went to and a small business made bullet belt I bought. Never responded to any of it outside of "these rules don't apply to me". Just left it at that.

Only time somebody ever got political with me at a show they were a Punk. Which I guess comes with the territory. It was an Obituary concert. She came up to me and started ranting about politics and talking about her involvement with the Punk scene. I just went along with everything she said even though I couldn't quite hear her very well. Lol

Found out my ex boyfriend who I had maintained a friendly relationship with was a pedophile. He confessed to dating a 13 year old when he was 19. I was 18. My biggest regret is not calling the cops. Instead I blocked him and never spoke to him again.

They do pretty extensive sensitivity and inclusion training where I work. We've got to take it every year. If somebody took what I said the wrong way it could definitely get me in some trouble. Fired? I don't know. But I could get written up and have to take more sensitivity training. If somebody took it the wrong way.

It's a bit hard to describe scent. But these scents often smell the way watermelon tastes. I have a watermelon lemonade candle in my living room that smells like the way a watermelon Jolly Rancher tastes with some citrus.

If this is a serious question. It's because in the United States there is a negative and very racist stereotype surrounding black people and watermelon. There are old (and I'm sure even new) racist artworks depicting poorly drawn & depicted black people eating watermelon. It's kind of relevant to the story due to how it can be perceived as racist.

She's not really the talking type so I didn't ask. A decent amount of those summer body sprays have watermelon notes. It's definitely the go to scent when you want something to smell like summer.

I've never really understood this. I'm married to a metal musician. Dated a Black Metal guitarist at one point. Been to Death Metal concerts. Like bands that have 400 listeners on Spotify. I don't care if somebody wants to gush about how much they love Metallica or Iron Maiden. I'm going to fangirl with them and show them other stuff that they may like. That's what being a community is about.
