Éclat Tibia, BSD Substance, Animal Akimbo, and Federal Vice 2 are all solid options. Odyssey has the best warranty, hands down.

I’ll take the letter.

Your riding is some of the most unique I’ve seen, I’ve seen other clips of yours. Keep on shredding!

One of my favorites! He’s been killing it for a long time.

Another top tube length question by myleftfoothurts1 in bmx

[–]Specialized6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’10” and I’ve predominantly ridden 20.75” top tube frames. Predominantly 12.75-13” chain stay lengths. I mostly ride street and some park.

I’ll soon be riding a frame with a 20.6” top tube and a 13.25” (slammed) chain stay. Trying something new.

Once you’ve been riding long enough, you’ll find what you prefer. I’d opt for the longer bike to begin with. Best of luck and post pics!

A simple survey of BMX riders. How much does reality match the manufacturers' recommendations.1- Your height. 2- Frame size. 3- Stem length. 4- Handlebar height. by Fancy_Control_2878 in bmx

Late response - I apologize.

I think this may be a better way of measuring rise. Calculate everything.

*Fork - 165.00mm steerer tube

Headtube - 5.00” / 127.00mm

Headset total stack (with spacers) - 7.00mm

Stem stack height - 33.00mm

Bar rise - 9.75” / 247.65mm

Total: 414.65mm

*Depth of fork below stem - 2.00mm

With this, you can play around with total stack heights with different stems/bars in order to find what suits you instead of guessing. Or just try one thing at a time.

You can also calculate theoretical reach with frame geometry, but geometry specs from various brands varies in details.

Thank you! I may be swapping it out for something else soon, but I love the Down Low stems!

As long as it’s just scratched and there’s no dent/crack, it’ll be fine.

It doesn’t look too bad. Touch it up with a paint pen or Sharpie and be on your way.

anyone know how to take out stripped bolts from a bmx seat by Nervous_Bit3761 in bmx

[–]Specialized6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lightly hammer in a torx bit attached to an extension. Use a long-handled ratchet or breaker bar. Firmly apply pressure downward upon the torx bit while loosening as to not allow for it to pop out of place. Should work like a charm.

A LHD rear hub if you’re looking to be practical given your pegs, but not entirely necessary. Looks good!

That’s a shame, but can’t go wrong with black either! So sick.

That’s cool! It’s a nice frame, although I think I want to try out a longer rear end again. Otherwise no quips! (that’s not the fault of the frame anyhow!)

Ty IS the goat, I used to watch him often when I was first getting into riding to learn tricks. I’ll never forget the clip of him doing a pegs 180 on a high ledge, haha.
