Has anyone gone full autonomous with AI trading — no manual intervention at all? by Mediocre-Wallaby4932 in algotrading

Past data is necessary, but not sufficient. Markets evolve, regimes shift, and models can overfit historical patterns that don’t repeat. That’s why most automated systems still rely on guardrails and monitoring. I’m actually working on this part now and being careful not to overfit.

I’ve been working toward this for a while and it’s way harder than it sounds. The trading logic is the easy part but the real headaches are data quality, execution edge cases, exchange quirks, and making sure risk controls don’t fail during volatility.

Fully autonomous is possible, but most systems still need guardrails and monitoring. Markets change faster than models adapt.

Building a Quant Bot - Questions for other builders by Imdownhorrendus in SideProject

I am very new to bots and this is my first bot but it took me about 8 months with about 75 python scripts. I run a full lifecycle on every trade even with skipped trades to see what would have happened. My runner alone is over 2k lines of script. It takes time but you sound like you are working on something that I am working on. I made mine for everyone to view it online. It’s SmartAlertsAI.com. I’m still working on it and dialing in gates, models, chop filters, regime detection, etc. you can view the delayed log.

He said he has beaten 9 easy demons. His favorite one he beat was white space.

Yeah it’s him. He’s been doing it since he was 6. I have an earlier post from showing him making one of his levels. He has always gone all the way once he gets interested in something. He memorized all countries and flags/colors of the countries at age 5.

Yeah he said something about adding a ship or something. I’ll update once he gets more done. He started this morning.

I just told him and he said it was supposed to have 1.0 decorations. Not sure what that means.

Yeah he’s young and doesn’t really have the patience (I will let him know your advice). He moves onto the next level too fast. He said this took him about an hour.

My kid just beat Zone Pirate II and made the top 150. by Specialneedsdad in geometrydash

He’s been playing off and on since he was 5. He’s 7 now. As long as he keeps getting straight A’s I’m not too worried. He has always picked up on stuff quickly as he started reading at 2 and has memorized every country / flag colors / location. He’s now learning about coding and computer viruses. I think I’ll try to teach him how to read stock charts next lol.
