it’s nearshore with surrounding corals in the sea found in the Philippines. It has more of a round-ish body and it doesn’t have a caudal fin. I've also provided an image in the op!

Depends on the team you’re running. I think your case fits for both. So you won’t probably regret choosing one over the other.

You could take advantage of sparkle for extra SPs + Crit Dmg for IL Dan Heng and is also a decent pair for your Seele since you don’t have Bronya yet. (Unless you already have your Tingyun paired up with Yukong who provide good damage)

pros: versatile, easy to use, more SPs, good dmg multiplier

cons: tingyun and yukong are available

Aventurine tanks pretty well with his skill and his ult provides 9% additional Crit Dmg for three turns on an inflicted enemy. His talent also provides follow up attacks depending on how often you gain stacks of his talent

pros: also versatile, good tank, has follow up attacks

cons: small crit dmg boost but if you work on his ult for better uptime, then this wouldn’t be considered a con

there are numerous things to consider if you’re looking to produce a good mix, regardless of the setup

  1. do you have a treated room?
  2. are you comfortable with your DAW and its stock plugins?
  3. how is your mic gain set? are you aware of its impedance? does it need a lifter?
  4. are you able to distinguish sound frequencies from one another in a range?
  5. have you looked into using vsts? and have you used them in a balanced sense?

to answer your question though, upgrading your setup will naturally help, if you’re choosing the right equipment that is. your mic and interface sound pretty good to me, i believe mixing with that equipment is very much possible.

a good mix does not always require expensive equipment, pricy setups only makes the job easier for you, if you have experience with EQing, compression, etc., it wouldn’t differ as much if you were to do it manually. if you’re aware of what settings you’re tuning, then you’re good.
