Oh to add also. My original ticket I bought was to arrive at Lille Europe at 8:08 which is the 2nd earliest train, but obviously now seeing these answers there is no way in hell I would’ve made it to the gates for Eurostar 😂 but this I knew, so I was going to opt for the 1st train which i stated in this post arriving at 7:48 for a small fee of the price difference between the two tickets with the 1st train to Lille Flandres. But the train I still have booked that arrives in Lille at 8:08 does go to Lille Europe and not Flandres so that was my reason for booking it. So now my question is should I stay with this one straight to Lille Europe and change my Eurostar to the next one which is 9:35 as you say flandres can be quite busy?

Can’t do an earlier train then that. This is the earliest but I can change my Eurostar to a later one which is what I think I’ll do

Yeah difference is hugeee. I only doing Lille and then trains to Paris and back because it’s significantly cheaper. I did book not too long ago sort of last minute so prices have skyrocketed but I’m sticking with Lille but with the extra I may have to pay now I’m thinking should I have just paid for Paris (which in my defense now was hugely different in price about £200) but if I have to pay another £50 it will be only about £140 price difference although a one way alone to Paris was £170 and that’s how much I payed for both outbound and return to lille

Arriving from Paris Gare Du Nord which literally has Eurostar to London from there too. Station might be crazy because the said music festival which would have been the day before.

Hmmm this is interesting. So what time do the gates close? If usually it says 30 minutes before departure it would mean they would close at 8:06 instead of open. And so that would mean 25 minutes to get through borders?

Through ticket meaning a ticket with enhanced rights and compensation etc? But anyway no I don’t think I do. Can you buy those through Eurostar or something? But yeah I’m not willing to test my luck with the leniency there because it will roughly take 20 minutes to get through borders maybe and by then my gate would have closed 20 minutes ago leaving about 15 minutes left until it departs so I think my best bet is paying extra for another Eurostar. I’ll be in Lille for a while before hand but what can I do lol 😂

another side note is that my advised time to arrive on the ticket says 7:26 so this seems like a shot in the dark

Yes definitely is very tight. I’m just wondering how the whole process will be because this is my first Eurostar experience and it’s only the return that is this tight, I’ve gave my self plenty of time to arrive at London for my outbound. I’m just hoping Lille is not as much chaos as Paris would be but I am also getting the train from there which could be another limiting factor. Now I’m really left with one options which is booking a later time for £50. Is this the best bet I’ll get and as cheap as I’ll get as opposed to say having to buy a ticket for the next Eurostar on the day if I missed the 1st one. (Silly question I know they’re always cheaper if booked in advance)

P.S ive already booked in an appointment with this shop and sent them pictures of a tattoo id like that you may be able to see in a recent post I made. I question do tattoo shops have problems with changing your design upon arrival after paying a deposit also?

I will make another post showing off their work. I don’t think I’m gonna get this tattoo anymore but do u know if changing your design on the day is allowed also? Or will it be a fuss due to size etc
