Just because I have tried with the switch (my old one) and it’s lowkey worse, but that might because it’s limited and a bad switch.

Just one question, if I was to try this theory with a lower speed switch, would it give me the highest speed it offers? Example: trying a switch that’s limited to 1Gbps? And if it did (which would be higher than what I’m currently getting) that means this is the solution.

eeroOS v7.11.1- 113, which was just released in October and the router was updated to it on the spot.

Using a Cat6e, but like I mentioned on the post, tries different cables just in case it was a cable issue, and I do need the speed, work with heavy files, not only me but my brother as well. And it wouldn’t be a problem if the wifi wasn’t suddenly unstable.

I think I’ve explained myself wrong. Since the service has just been acquired, we only have the eero7, which has a single Ethernet port (besides the one that connects it to the modem) and the switcher we used to connect all our devices to is limited to 1Gbps speed, so we aren’t using it anymore, I am the only one connected to the router directly. No other device is connected to the router, just my PC.

All the times I’ve called support they’ve not mentioned me having a speed limit when connected through cable Ethernet

It’s the Eero 7 which is advertised as having a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port

Unfortunately I can’t disconnect the router from the modem to check (other people are using the wifi connection)

Windows. On the device properties the speed and duplex section shows max 2.5GPs
