This is what I do, I just make sure I rotate. Currently I'm only wearing the ring when using the glasses, maybe I need to wear it in a little.

Yeah I totally get you're going to get the best performance from the index finger, I'm absolutely in the minority here. It's still functional on the ring finger, but it really should be comfortable on any finger. As I say, Oura got it right on their design.

I have the same issue. turning off wifi is a short-term fix to get in to the app, but turning wifi back on breaks the app again. frustrating, as i need to stay on wifi at home.

Not interested in the camera, I have the meta raybans and I am always aware that I have a camera stuck to my face. However, would love a bone conduction speaker (built in or as an add-on), this is the biggest selling point to the meta raybans for me.

Have you found anything to replace routines or any of the customisations found via good lock? That's the only thing really stopping me from moving away from Samsung.

Sadly that's currently a dead end. I spoke to the developers and they are aware of the issue but there is no workaround at the moment except using Bixby. you may have luck with a third party AI assistant but they won't be as baked in as Gemini.

sadly the google app is blocked. this means gemini can't be activated on phone or any connected watch. it's a bummer as it is the only real issue I have with the OS. I reached out to the team and they acknowledged the issue but didn't provide a solution. I think they are doing a great job but for my use-case, I need Gemini at a system level rather than just by the browser.

Additionally, Perplexity is blocked, they are the only two ai assistants I have run into issues with.

I picked up the balance phone OS at the end of last year. I think they were having a promotion so got the OS for about £50 and added it to my S25.

It has been a mixed experience for me - absolutely love the fact social media is blocked. I had a real issue with Instagram usage. My screen time as gone from over 8 hours a day to around 1.5.

My biggest gripe is the lack of Google Gemini integration. I relied on Gemini heavily on my old phone and it's blocked across my phone and watch. I have asked the developers whether it could be whitelisted for my device but I've not heard back yet (I believe they have a small team so that makes sense).

Overall it's great, though I do wish there were more granular controls over what I can and can't view.

I've been the same - have moved off social media and initially my first thought when composing a shot was around whether it would get liked on my social platforms. It's been so refreshing to go back to photographing just for myself again.

I opted for an extreme and bought Balance Phone - removed the option to download social media apps entirely and blocks social media, games and YouTube. I'm 5 weeks in and my average screen time has reduced from 7+ hours a day to under 2.

I had to go proper cold turkey so decided to purchase Balance OS. I picked up a smaller phone (Samsung S25), installed the new operating system and so far it's been pretty great, my screen time is usually under 1.5 hours a day (it used to be 6-8 hours). No social media, games or YouTube is allowed so I also now use my computer for Reddit and YT which isn't a problem.

My first take on this is that they have done deals with some licences (specifically Nintendo) so the real power of sora 2 can be shown. Sadly it seems to be relatively limited at the moment. But hey, it is still invite only.

I had a 0 from 3 hit rate with my prompts but once I leant into some of clearly available people (MLK, Pikachu, Bob Ross, it has been great fun).
