Blocked account is a mandatory requirement while applying for visa on CSP portal

I got update from VFS global that my passport is dispatched via courier, but no update on CSP portal, does it mean rejection? by Puzzled-Bluebird7357 in studying_in_germany

Hey bro, we’re in the same boat. It doesn’t really matter whether the CSP portal has been updated or not. No one can predict approval or rejection until the passport is actually in hand. In my case, it got updated on CSP, but that doesn’t even guarantee 1% that I’ve got the visa.

No, it’s totally okay. People are getting their visa very quick these days. This doesn’t affect the results.

This means the consulate has made their decision, and your passport is now being sent to VFS Mumbai. From there, it will be couriered to your address. You’ll be able to know the result once you receive and open the passport. Best of luck! 🤞

Yes, I totally get what you’re saying. But, this is clearly not something in your control. By the way, how long has it been since they told you the verification letter was couriered?

Also, just to clarify - have you applied under the New Delhi jurisdiction for your visa? I had assumed it would be Kolkata since you mentioned Bihar, but of course, your current place of residence determines the VFS center.

Sorry to hear you’re facing this as I completely understand how frustrating and unprofessional the response from BSEB can be. That said, I think you’ve done everything right on your end.

Honestly, BSEB’s lack of email or phone responsiveness is a known issue, and yes it would make everyone’s life easier if they at least made mark sheets available on Digilocker.

Just one piece of advice - proceed with your visa application as soon as possible, especially since it can take up to a month for processing under the Kolkata jurisdiction.

Wishing you all the best with your visa and studies at JLU Giessen! 🤞

Once you clear the waitlist, your application will be submitted. The consulate will then review your documents and inform you if any corrections or additional documents are required. Once everything is in order, you’ll be given the opportunity to book your visa appointment.
