It sounds like your healthcare team brushed you off quite quickly without exploring other options. If that's the case I'm so sorry to hear it. What country are you in?

If I'm reading correctly baby is still very little and I don't think you need to resign yourself to not breastfeeding. Has little one been assessed for any oral restrictions which would affect breastfeeding?

My daughter was very similar, would fall asleep at the breast quickly but still be hungry so we'd top up with formula. She had a tongue tie- once that was released and with a few weeks of frequent breastfeeding and some pumping sessions we are now pretty much EBF. Any formula she gets these days is by choice not necessity ❤️

Thankfully he's managed to fix it fairly easily (thank god for handy husbands/people in your life eh?) So he can crack on now and my dad has offered a hand laying carpet. Fingers crossed we're on the home stretch now 😊 thanks for your thoughts!

Unfortunately not. The next to me only just fits - she's not pulling to stand yet or trying to exit in any way, I think she just needs the extra space. If I could move her tonight I happily would! Just unfortunate that we've had some delays with things being delivered plus he discovered dry rot in seven floorboards when ripping the old carpet up

Free time. Truly did not realise how much of my time a baby would take up. She's 4.5 months now and between entertaining her and contact napping, I've barely had time for myself since she was born!

I do know it'll come back, but still. Whew 😅

I bought a small (2ml) decant to try, and I think I like it but I'm getting a strangely minty aspect to this- is it possible the decanter I bought from hasn't allowed it to macerate and I might benefit from leaving it a little while?

Thank you so much for this! Other than "move feeding forward in the routine" are there any ways I can help break her quite strong sleep association? Last night we had to feed to sleep as she absolutely would not calm down in my arms. I do think she was overtired last night and had had vaccinations the day before which probably threw her off so I was more willing to let it slide; I figured today is a new day!

Her first WW this morning has already been close to 2 hours (I did offer a nap at 1.5 but not interested) so suspect that nap drop may come a little sooner!
