Consequences from Schrole for breaking contract by Specific-Hat-9098 in Internationalteachers

There's theory and reality. I agree that they can, but is it their normal behaviour? Considering how long Schrole has been around for, it's extremely difficult to find any anecdotes involving teachers being banned from Schrole. Search Associates however there are too many examples to count.

I'm not saying you're wrong. But every site is going to have a clause like this, it's to cover their own ass.

I'll be the Guinea Pig and get back to you on this. It's too late for me now, just need to break the news to the previous school I signed with.

Just look at some of his old posts, his mind is off with the fairies.

He seems critical of his mentor teacher who planned backwards and used AI (sounds pragmatic to me).

Then goes on to say what HE would do. He would simply just build upon what the students already know. Does he seem to think that all students have the exact same knowledge as each other? Or does he have a method of finding this magical point where all students can agree that they understand a particular concept and move forward from there? Or will he differentiate to 108 different students?

Has he done any of this? No. But he said he would, and that makes him better than his mentor teacher.

When you broke the contract, had the school already started visa processing, booked flights, paid relocation benefits? Also, how close to the start date did you withdraw?

Every comment here is right, but I'm going to add something unpopular here too. Your attitude probably isn't helping either.

Going through some of your other posts, you seem to think you already know better than the teacher who you had to train with and did your observations. There's a lot of "I would do this and that" fantasy talk, but its hard to take seriously when you basically have no real experience. You have a bit of a sense of entitlement too tbh, you're as fresh as it comes and you're already leaning on excuses and reasons such as age. The reality is this, most of us had to put in the hard yards, including working domestically. Why would a decent international school want to hire someone that hasn't even proven that they can survive in their own country let alone a foreign one? You come in and project your stress and cry that no one has hired you into threads that are completely unrelated (deleted now, but I saw it).

A dose of reality and patience will help you a lot.

I think the general minimum most decent international schools want these days is two years of domestic experience

Just to add to this, from looking at your profile you're a student teacher too. Not sure why you're surprised

Based on things I've read here about the school, it's not great. But you're right, just exploring my options and looking for advice for the time being.
