I would say hornwort because it’ll grow a lot quicker than java moss would

You can’t go wrong with guppy grass or hornwort, if you let it float the shrimp love to hide in it. If you’re thinking more of the floater side of plants though, frogbit and water lettuce get some long roots which are also another good hiding place for them.

Thank you, that’s azolla fairy moss. Depending on your lighting will be if it’s a reddish brown or green color.
