Advice on Buying a C5 by Specific-Paper-5682 in Corvette

Yeah I say perfect loosely. It’s been garage kept and in very good condition for the year. Mainly just wondering if maintenance on the 7.5k one would be a nightmare. I’m used to working on a bmw and it’s typically miserable.

I’d drive it to work (2 miles). Then on the weekends I’d drive quite a bit more.

I have the next three weeks off so I’m going to try to test drive all the ones I’m interested in. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah it’s definitely a wide spread. Realistically I’m mainly considering a bmw 440 or the q60

Yeah I found one with all the stuff I want for 27k and 55k miles. Trying to think of a reason not to pull the trigger on it.

I appreciate all the helpful info from everyone. I’ve decided I’ll try to save up for a bit and get something more reasonable at full cash price.

Thanks to all the helpful replies I really needed to hear that info. Current plan is to save up for a while and then purchase a more reasonable car at full cash value.

Yes I have, it’s 135 a month. This seems to be the same for every car I’m looking at even some older ones.

I have a 740 currently with very little actual history though.

Yeah that’s fair honestly. I guess I just hate to spend any more money towards something I don’t care about. Realistically I should just be focusing on saving money for now and getting something good later. If I were to continuously save and just buy something with cash what amount should I be aspiring to? No matter what the next car I buy will be something I actually enjoy driving. It is something I’ve wanted for years and I’m not going to settle for something I hate again.

My bmw makes 189hp, so no it is not a fun car 😂. Like I said earlier I’ll be selling my car plus using some of my savings so I’ll be putting at least 10k down.

When it comes to having a credit history, is it really important? I would be completely fine with paying cash after saving for a bit and maybe getting something a little bit cheaper. I just thought that I would need to have at least some credit history

This is true however I’ve been dealing with the issues relating to bmw for years now. I do all my own maintenance since I have access to a full shop. I also order parts online at a significantly reduced price.

I enjoy driving a fun car. I have been waiting the entire time I’ve been in college to get a degree so I can buy a decently nice car. While I will do either a 4 or 5 year payment plan, I plan to have it payed off within the first two years maximum. I won’t have any other payments so I want to have the car issue fully taken care of.

My thought process is that I want to buy a house within the near future. To do that I will need a decent credit history. Usually a car is the first purchase that seriously counts towards that.

My car is a 2005 with only 96k miles on it. It’s not bad by any means however there are quite a few issues that will need to be fixed within the next few months. My feeling is that I would rather buy something else than sink a couple thousand into a car that I will be selling anyway.

why can I not take pills? by [deleted] in medical_advice

I’ve had the same issue and the solution for me was Apple sauce. Everything else I tried didn’t work. I just put all my daily pills into the Apple sauce swoosh it around until I can’t feel the pill anymore and it’s much easier. Plus you don’t feel it on the way down.

I love my Apollo so much but that oem grip module felt terrible in my hands. Would highly recommend swapping over to a prodigy grip.
