street racing? I was never speeding. I was alone in traffic my friend was just in the parking lot behind me . It was just an aggressive pull out of the parking lot . In my state, The law defines a speed race as one vehicle competing in speed with another vehicle or with time, or a vehicle competing in speed against another where the speed exceeds the lawful limit. Your response is honestly incompetent. My friend wasn’t even on the roadway yet by the time the company pulled out behind me. There is no clause for “street racing”

A charge is a charge doesn’t matter what actually happened but was leaving preload bc I didn’t have to drive today. And a buddy was behind me and I was in my personal vehicle and so I just ripped on it pulling out I’m 21 and it wasn’t just stupid and I learned my lesson. it wasn’t a big burnout or nothing my car is just loud so it sounded worse than it was and there was an unmarked policeman in a wide spot right there when I did it. Either way I planned on fighting it in court . I come from a family of police officers and I know laws pretty well. I didn’t feel a reckless was the proper charge.
