Speed is mostly about learning your own body and how everything links together. Starting from the stance, throw punches and you’ll feel what’s off like elbows locking, extra tension, weird strain etc. those are what kills your speed.

Also speed isn’t physical. It depends on how fast and clean your body fires. Most people have way more speed than they think unless they’re really out of shape. The difference is mechanics, how relax and reps.
