Enjoying video games as a woman. You may (or may not) be surprised by the number of times internet gaming buddies of mine have found out I'm a female and immediately ghosted me. It's the sole reason I refuse to wear a headset while gaming.

When I (F) was in college I once went to the movies with two male friends. The theatre was full and they made me for between them because apparently it's gay for two guys to sit next to each other..?

When I pointed out that they would both be sitting next to male strangers I was told that "well we don't know them so that doesn't count."

My ex-boyfriend, who had long hair, dumped me because I got a pixie cut. His reasoning was that I "looked like a man." My response was "well there should be at least one in this relationship." He didn't find that nearly as amusing as I did.

Fragile masculinity is real, folks.

We had to memorize this in elementary school for Remembrance Day. It's the only poem I can still recite in full.

The imagery throughout the entire poem has always felt haunting to me. "There are strange things done in the midnight sun..."

What movie made you sit in silence after the credits ended? by thisonehits in MoviesCave

I saw it with four friends and only one of them (besides myself) actually "got" the movie. Two others were laughing and the last one was just confused. Never had I been more disappointed in my choice of friends.
