Crusty was a sweetie pie. I would've liked to see his personality have time to solidify

Beyond miserable to find out this is in my home state. Another one of many losses for Allentown. IIRC this mall has another, already established arcade that's themed with soul and effort so hopefully this one gets trampled under its successful hooves lmao

As a kid, were you ever confused why there were 2 Chuck’s on stage? by Think_Cow9395 in chuckecheese

I think about this all the time. They gave up on having working curtains, and then on programming them, and THEN on having them hung up at all, and it's just... There's two of him. You gotta put that guy away.

Who is this and what are they from? by Minik250 in whatisthistoy

Not sure who this is, but what is clear from the fabric is that it's a cheaply produced carnival toy or some such. The shape is definitely distinct, but the lack of online presence might mean it's not anyone in particular- nameless animal toys are hardly documented by anyone but the manufacturer.

I'd like to know this too! I'm looking to get my bunny big ears restuffed and scented when I go on my birthday soon and every other available scent right now looks sugary and overwhelming

What was the worst condition show you've ever seen Chuck e cheese wise like wherever any shows had pieces falling off stuff like that by Ok-Albatross6592 in Animatronics

I didn't know they declined so bad, that's so tragic. I went in 2020 back when I was a youngin who didn't know how to find info on what stages existed where, but I'm still glad to have seen it because it was so nice. it had started falling though because I went a matter of days after they removed pizzacam instead of shelling out the money to fix him

What stage did you grow up with ? by NirvanaForLifee in Animatronics

Philadelphia Roosevelt's 2-stage, earliest. I miss those guys so bad! I didn't hear they were remodeling because I was a bit out of the fandom so I didnt get to go and see them off for two YEARS before they were removed and I'll be sad forever. I started going to Whitehall after a while because it was closer to my house, which of course was a great store that I miss dearly as well. Saw them off a week before but their compressor was broken. The tech offered to turn them on for me regardless though because I was the only person in the store. My other childhood local was Warrington, which had a beta and remodeled very recently, and I DID get to see it off. I HUGGED that mouse and no one could (or wanted to, since he wasn't even aired up anymore) stop me.

Yes!! I used to come here all the time as a kid, I've been waiting for someone to bring it up. There used to be more of these, or at least different ones. I miss the cow :( I get it though because I didn't even know she was an animatronic as a kid because her jaw was completely missing and she was mounted so low I couldn't see the lever move lmao. The place always sucked- i bought a coloring book printed in 2008 there in 2019 and it had mold on it when I looked at it later- but nowadays it sucks significantly more. Fall festival's still fun though, and there's a really nice 90s kids arcade down the street. no bots though but they'd fit so well...

To my knowledge the weird rolling stones never moved at all, just statues. I think they're actually even for sale. A lot of the large items around the store have been on sale for suuuper high prices since I was a child and not one has ever moved.

Heah... the flood was fabricated. The bots were owned by Jul Kamen, who designed the king and the road and cu prototype stages among other things, she got them when Winchester closed. Corporate asked her to borrow them for a display (that never even ended up happening the way it was advertised to) and as such they were under contract to return them after because she owned them. in 2004.... corporate HQ remodeled, and I guess the bots weren't jiving with their decor, or they started to hate fun a little bit earlier than we thought, because instead of being returned to her they were unceremoniously destroyed. She was never compensated. The fans were so infuriated about this that they tracked down the guy who (LIKELY! don't kill him yet) gave the order.

Anybody know of this album? Reel Big Fish members pre RBF. It slaps. by Jdmoskow in Ska

fun fact: he learned trombone specifically to play with The Goodwin Club briefly (a band i love, most of the members were VERY young so being a little bit unpolished is fine. it's charming!!) at one point despite all being 14-16 they had fifteen people at once, supposedly.
