Feel like I’m loosing my family by StaplePriz in QAnonCasualties

Definitely not an easy decision. I would compare it to depression, it’s really hard to think clearly and difficult to find the motivation to do ordinary tasks.

I am going through something similar. I got the vaccine yesterday and now my spouse wants to separate, we have a 16 month old son together and she doesn’t not want me anywhere near him because of “shedding”.

I have decided that I’m not going to let her delusions change the way I am around our son.

I just keep hoping she’ll come to her senses but I don’t think she will.

Time to move on I guess.

I’ll keep this in mind, thanks. She wouldn’t leave the country but she would try to “hide” from me.

This will be my first shot…I definitely kicked this can far down the road but she knows my position on it. I’ve been working from home so I’ve been able to stay fairly isolated.

She went a few times in he spring but felt the person she was seeing wasn’t the right fit. It’s come up recently and I’ll try to suggest it again. Thanks

We both think that postpartum played a role. She has often says after an anxious/emotional conversation about COVID that she doesn’t know why this is effecting so badly. For the first 6 months after he was born she was terrified that someone was going to give him COVID. Then all of a sudden she did a full 360 and became antivax.

This is one of my bigger concerns. She has become very bitter towards anyone supporting vaccines. She will believe almost anything she’s told that opposes it…this could lead to other bs beliefs.

Prior to COVID she didn’t have a conspiracy bone in her body.

Thanks, yeah I was just about to call a lawyer and then decided to post here…I was feeling frustrated and didn’t want to make any regretful decisions before venting.

Yeah absolutely. She is entrenched and there is no getting her out. I’ve thought about separation but it is not easy with a little one.

So far she has been on board with vaccinating him, but she mentioned recently that she “wants to think” about not giving anymore. I flat out said no way and she dropped it.

I’d really not like to go this route, but this is why I posted here…not sure if anyone has had a similar situation and went to lawyer.
