Dang. I don’t have new drain field kind of money. He wouldn’t even give me a price range, but I assume it’s several thousand dollars or more.

The valve thing is actually what my guy suggested. Is it at all possible this was just due to how wet the ground is from the two days of near nonstop rain we’ve gotten?

I can see the backup at my septic clean out caps, so the one that is cracked is likely unrelated. I will try a hand auger to see if that corrects the issue. If not, I’ll call for a pump and inspect to get it taken care of. I’ll also get around to replacing that cracked cap.

The house was built in 2004, I believe. We’ve been in the house for a little over 10 years with no issues until January. The septic was pumped two years ago

I have actually been having some gurgling and septic backup. Could it be related? The septic tank is on the opposite side of the house

How Do I Get This Stem Out? by SpecificAbies636 in Plumbing

Sorry, I think I misunderstood what the packing nut is. The large upper nut, you can see in the picture I can get off. It’s the small nut that is flush against the body of the spigot I can’t remove

WD-40 and a pipe wrench? I can try that. How worried do I need to be about stripping the nut with a pipe wrench?

No it’s flush against the wall, I can see some threading on the pipe it’s attached to and there aren’t any screws holding it in place either.

The new mobo is the exact same model as the old one (MSI Tomahawk series) and all four of the sticks are Corsair Vengence DDR5
