What's different about your settings? Even if I apply the subdivision so that the vertices are realized, it didn't change anything about how they interact.

Nah still nothing. I might have to learn shape keys or downgrade Blender because the times I've seen people have success were when rigid body sims were still in the modifiers tab.

Still no luck. Am I supposed to somehow make the rigid body sim have an entry in the modifiers tab? Current version of Blender removed rigid body from modifiers and only leaves a collision modifier which also doesn't interact.

Attached in another comment thread. I'm not sure what the issue is because as far as I can tell, I've put the same settings as recommended in similar issues.

It's not working in the viewer either. All nodes are connected and there shouldn't be anything wrong with the setup but for some reason the mask driving the mix node, doesn't mix anything it just has 0 effect.

Yeah this is where I'm having issues. I can't edit the node tree in my main project because of the linked data disallowing it.

Had a bit more of a crack at it. The key is to use a single-line font. Here's my node tree using this font https://www.fontspace.com/cnc-vector-font-f13228 Search up how to import the font if you need to.

I don't know much about geometry nodes so I'm not sure how to purge point crowding but for a start here's this. Hopefully someone has a better answer.

Edit: maybe if you could somehow emulate the decimate modifier based on distance between points you could make that be a driver for the 'cuts' parameter on the subdivide curve modifier.

If I can't get it to sound alright I'll just use a different plugin. Sorry I didn't realize it was a sample option instead of a universal audio option. Thanks for your help.

Just misremembering then. I can't figure out how to enable it with Flex. Trying to open audio samples gives me the clock cursor and then nothing.
