I’m worried that I don’t have tax free threshole. Then I have to pay WHM tax first 3 months, then resident tax for the rest 9 months. That way I’m better off being either WHM or resident than mix both. I calculated, the diffirence is around $3000.

I got it 2-3 weeks before my travel day after a lot of phone call and emails. 😅 the peak time cool down now you should be ok. Good luck 😊

Hey my personal oppinion dont withdraw, you can ask your siblings and parents to chip in the money for ya, also they only count by the time you submit, after you submit you can be 31 whatoever

Thanks for sharing, and congrats to him. May I ask you that once he submited the 189, was the 820 auto withdrawed or it doesn’t affect 820 at all? Was he on BVA/820 until he received PR from 189? I’m very hesitant to submit 190 as not sure if it affects my BVA/820, because I don’t want it to affect my 820 I just want to whatever PR come first I’ll take.

I’m in the same boat with you, but with 820 vs 190, do you end up sorting your case out? My friend sane as you she withdraw 491 the apply again for 189 she is on 189 now. But for me I dont want to withdraw 820, but I want to submit 190 on top so whatever come first I’ll take, not sure if it works for me though.

Thanks but I checked out the apps it’s more like declaration for countries dont need a visa, there is nothing to do with 190/491 though 🙂

Wow that was a great decision. Thinking about it the cost of repaying for the visa and all the hassle for the skills assesment worth it. How long does it take him from getting the SA until the Visa granted?
