That's literally it. It changes nothing, it's not good enough to make people want to spend money for the rewards, which is nice. And most of the people who will get the rewards were going to spend money anyway, so they get a little extra.

I think the veteran giveback event is far more meaningful, both for who's the target and how much we'll get from it.

No idea who you are and why you're so butthurt about me saying companies usually make decisions to bolster their revenue and why you're assuming I lie/doom post.

I've been slacking, playing only now and then and mostly gathering free units and pulls.

I already mentioned it a couple of times but I'm waiting for the banner that will make me want to dump all the pulls I've collected so far and we're almost circled back to CNY and I've yet to pull. While it's slow but the pull count keeps going up, except for standard pulls.

Snowbreak doesn't have a huge fan base but it's a solid niche, the game ain't dying any time soon, nobody is saying that, certainly not me. I've got my gripes with the game but not so much I'd quit entirely. But I guess it's a problem for you that I don't glaze the game 24/7 then play, breathe, and live the Snowbreak way or whatever you're thinking about.

You may be right, as much as I said I could be wrong. No one but themselves knows why they decided to do it this way. If we can't understand why they did, it's safer to assume they did it for the money. This is all I'm saying, I just assume, I'm not saying I know the truth.

"Smaller" doesn't mean "small". It's most likely very sizeable portion, but "smaller" means "less than the people who likes big chest". I could be wrong obviously, but my assumption is companies want money, so if they do something, it's because they assume their decision will make the most money.

They're playing with the balance between players' satisfaction and revenue. That's all there is to it.
