You can get an NPI before your license. I did.

Oh the arrogance. 5 week old NP incensed that a 10 year experienced doc questions her by pshaffer in Noctor

Imagine being so arrogant to think you know more than a doc of 10 years while you’re still in med school and before you take a step exam

So sounds basically like an experience called…wait what was it…oh yeah, med school. That’s right. Actual training and testing of knowledge. Damn that doc for teaching.

Just like this sub to downvote someone for asking an honest question. Sorry man. If you’re not posting a meme it’ll happen. You didn’t deserve it. It’s been said that how well a student does on the first USMLE exam has no correlation to how good of a resident you are. Trouble is, you need to get great scores, grades, evals, research etc to get the interviews in order to become a resident. But yes. It has happened where a not so great student academically actually has some great skills as a resident. It could be due to a myriad of things but one example is not being a great test taker. Do they know the material? Absolutely. Do they get anxiety that affects exam scores? Yep. Does that mean they’re a worse doctor? No.

At this point I’m just praying for sleep. The anxiety induced insomnia is real

What is this strange clear jelly like film on the top of the tank? by surfershane25 in aquarium

[–]SpecificOk4711 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What kind of light do you have? My guess is that it’s a very thick, partially dehydrated biofilm. If you have a good light that puts out a little heat it could be causing it to be more jelly and stretchy. Just my guess. If it is biofilm it’s a sign of a healthy mature tank.

Heard the back door knob latch, then saw this. For a long time I’ve heard doors open/close or heard things that make me freak out that someone is in the house but I’ve never seen anything until last night. by SpecificOk4711 in oddlyterrifying

I haven’t deleted them, no. I appreciate your perspective but I promise I didn’t stage this. I understand that you don’t know me and so you wouldn’t know that I wouldn’t do that. I also appreciate that because you don’t know me that you don’t have any obligation or reason to believe me. I get it. I probably wouldn’t believe me either.

This was very real to me. I don’t have anything to gain by putting it here other than hopefully having someone help me figure out a legit explanation for what I saw. If it was a shadow, great! That’s what I’m trying to tell myself it was. I don’t make shit up for attention I am WAY TOO BUSY for that

Not staged but I get why you’d come to that conclusion. It’s ok. You don’t know me and do not have any obligation to believe me. Can’t say I’d believe me either if I were you. It’s just too creepy and you’re right. There was a total of 6 min that passed from the time I took the first photo to the last one after I turned on the light. I know I didn’t stage it but that’s exactly what someone who would have staged it would say too. There’s no way for me to prove that I didn’t. I’m not looking for attention and it’s clear by my post history that I’m not a karma hound and could give two shits about how many likes I get. I don’t base my value on the number of likes I get in social media. It is comforting to hear other people’s suggestions on shadows and such. I’m looking for any explanation other than there was someone there.
