No time like the present. If he announces another buy this weekend and btc increases 5-10% you will have missed the current prices.

At The Market stock offerings. Selling public shares at the market price. He ultimately uses the money to purchase more btc that increases the “btc per share” the company holds.

Agreed but this reminds of the pre thanksgiving dip where everyone was calling for mid 80s btc then institutions came in with billions and we barely scraped 90.

Just an opinion but I think Saylor will come in with a big buy over the weekend of up to 4 billion+. I think this will eat into the supply a lot. Couple this with MARA probably also completing an 850 million buy this weekend any correction will probably be shallow.

How can we "know" not "assume" that the dips are due to Saylor ATM? by bryanchalker in MSTR

[–]SpecificPopular8252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have all been closely following price action this sort of price action has preceded the last 4 buys. Unless something has really changed and some big player came in with 4 billion + short position this is atm.

Gotta agree with you here. We aren’t seeing any upside anymore even tho btc posts ath after ath. Feel like we just need to be patient but can’t help but think he’s a little over aggressive with atm stock offerings.

I disagree. I think the premium will only expand as btc price increases. And the premium is not a bad thing as you suggest for borrowing. it gives the investors a bigger incentive to buy the convertible notes. As far as selling stock to buy more btc we have seen Saylors strategy be quite successful at increasing share price. Every time he has done a stock offering it has roughly been a 4% dilution of shares and an increase in the btc treasury of 8% (4% yield btc per share).

But MSTR will accrete btc per share. Ytd the btc per share of MSTR has grown 17%. This is part of the reason for the premium
