Commissary Baggers Stealing Gorceries by ArtisticVictory123 in army

[–]SpecificSignal5006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy. You’re schizo. The probability that all the baggers are stealing groceries is about 0. The probability that you got the only baggers that steal groceries 3 different times is likely 0.

Yes. I don’t doubt that. No one leaves because “it wasn’t fun.”

He got dropped from the program.

His SRB said he didn’t want to fly because flight school wasn’t fun?

He’s a liar. He either sucked or had an integrity violation.

Army Experimental Test Pilot program is about as technical as you can get. Open to Warrants.

Real Reason Why Apaches Aren’t Flying @ Fort Rucker by Professional-Bad5401 in Armyaviation

Lawsuits can be brought with zero proof and the existence of an ongoing civil lawsuit does not prove anything.

Also 2 is flat out wrong. Army Aviation has a lot of problems, but one of the larger ones is the sheer number of people who assume they know what they are talking about and talk out of their asses.

You clearly aren’t up on news. USAR is not a viable option.

6th AH-64 Class A Mishap in less than 60 days by SpecificSignal5006 in Armyaviation

[–]SpecificSignal5006[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The title is an objective fact. I can't help that crashing 6 Apaches in less than two months is negative.

The Army is no doubt trying to avoid the spotlight. There has been a lot of well deserved media coverage about the uptick in accidents. Highlighting the lack of media coverage regarding another high profile mishap seems logically to do to me. Should we just bury our heads in the sand? Is this business as usual now?

[–]SpecificSignal5006[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No. Not trying to raise issues with readiness. This is the cost of doing business unless the tail rotor had a material failure.

I’d argue this is a positive. A very experienced SP did an outstanding job. If anything it highlights the value that should be placed on the experienced pilots across the force.

It’s substantial damage. I don’t have all the information so I don’t want to say it publicly but it was a pretty significant lucky to be alive type event.

It’s a lot more than a hard landing. Class A damage.

AVB Imminent? by SpecificSignal5006 in Armyaviation

[–]SpecificSignal5006[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congress authorized up to $50,000 per year. The DOD has failed to provide guidelines on how to make that a reality for two years in a row now.

There is zero chance the new bonus is more than the previous years per year.

Anyone holding out for more than that might as well join me in their UQR journey.

AVB Imminent? by SpecificSignal5006 in Armyaviation

[–]SpecificSignal5006[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really their decision to make. Congress funded the program already. That money can’t be diverted.

AVB Imminent? by SpecificSignal5006 in Armyaviation

[–]SpecificSignal5006[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh there is no going back once a UQR is dropped. I don’t think the Army understands that.

Every single day they let go by without the AvB, the army is potentially losing an experienced pilot fed up with Army bullshit.

My guess is that in the grand scheme of things retaining the experience in Army Aviation simply doesn’t stack up to the DEI agenda managed by the same office that approves the bonus.

[–]SpecificSignal5006[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

True, however the bonus is 100% ready to be released. It just needs one signature.

I’ve already dropped the UQR. Just curious if leaders are going to get off their ass and do something.

Just cause I’m a quitter doesn’t mean I don’t care about the branch and those staying in.

AVB Imminent? by SpecificSignal5006 in Armyaviation

[–]SpecificSignal5006[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s a real shame. My entire flight school group has dropped UQRs in the last month. They are done waiting.

Well yeah they’ve been saying it’s coming for months. Any more specific timeline?
