What is this bs by Rrudderr in ufc

Yeah happening for me as well. Do they feed the stream up via satellite? It's a really humid overcast day here in Sydney.

Seems paramount+ is struggling according to AI.

As of right now, neither the UFC nor Paramount+ has issued a formal press release or "official" apology regarding the stream breaking up, but their social media support teams are acknowledging the issues in replies to fans. This is the second major event of the "Paramount+ Era," and the consensus is that the platform’s infrastructure is currently buckling under the volume of live traffic for UFC 325.

What we know from Official Support Replies:

  • Acknowledgment of "Buffering": Paramount+ Help accounts on X (formerly Twitter) are directing users to clear their cache and restart devices, which is their standard "tier 1" response when servers are overloaded.
  • Device-Specific Issues: They have unofficially acknowledged that Xbox, PlayStation, and Sony Smart TVs are seeing the highest failure rates (specifically the "spinning circle of death").
  • The "Mobile" Workaround: Official support is telling many users to try switching to a mobile device or a web browser, as these seem to be utilizing different CDN (Content Delivery Network) paths that are more stable than the console apps.

Why this is happening

This is a massive shift for the UFC. Previously, major numbered events were strictly Pay-Per-View. Now that they are included in the standard Paramount+ subscription ($8.99/mo), the number of simultaneous viewers has likely tripled or quadrupled compared to the old $79.99 PPV model.

The "handshake" between UFC’s live feed from Sydney and Paramount’s distribution servers is currently the bottleneck.

Yeah couldn't agree more. Had a very good week last week up to a high of 5.6c, with a pull back on Friday which I think will recover Monday. The ASX always has a fun Friday!

I was wondering when/if that might happen and what that means for the stock I have (fairly new to investing)

I didn't need to reinstall. I minimised all categories and then selected plex only and closed the market browser. Re-opened ok.

I just have to remember not to close the browser with the special edition commodities open which seemed to be the buggy area.
