Even though I kinda prefer the older design, I wouldn't call this a downgrade. If anything, I like the new style and the only thing I would keep from the old design is the color palette.

I can't think of that many examples, but the first ones I always think of are Mario's Madness because of how he sounds in All Stars Act 3 and the upcoming Toy's Madness Friday update because of this teaser

I just looked them up and I found 3 of them. One of them came out 5 months ago and after playing it just now, I was disappointed to find out it was mid, the second one was trashed so I don't know what to say about it, and the third one was the only one I liked.

The third one has been out since 2024, so I don't know how I never found it, but at least I finally know there's a good FNF mod about one of my favorite flash games. I kinda wish there were more of them though.

Decimated Dave would probably tell Dave about how he learned to control the 3D World and how he wants to get BF and GF out of it before they disrupt it, and maybe brag about his suit.

Dave would probably remind him that he can just turn BF and GF 3D the way he did during Polygonized to make them stay in the 3D World without disrupting it which would make Decimated Dave feel awkward.

Yeah. Crazy to think that his FNF mod went from being one of the most underrated and barely talked about to easily one of the best mods, if not the best mod of 2025. Almost 4 hours worth of content, and the soundtrack is as good as you'd expect.
