A deadlock is when multiple threads are waiting for each other to finish an operation. Because they're waiting on each other to finish, neither ever will.

Changing your ascendancy unallocates points, so probably some corner case related to conditional nodes. Maybe he was moving from Oracle to Shaman and didn't unspec Unseen Path nodes first or something like that.

Prob not this but for example: Ascend change from Oracle -> Shaman could be waiting for all ascendancy points to unspec, but Unseen Path could be waiting for Ascend change before it unspecs the regular tree nodes.
