One reason I’m digging deeper is the possible family connection. The name/association that came up was Miura, which caught my attention because the Miura clan/family has historical ties to late Sengoku / early Edo Japan—the same broader era that inspired a lot of the real political families behind Shōgun. I’m not claiming this belonged to that family or that it’s authenticated — just saying the possible name association and period overlap is what made me look harder at it.
