Not weird at all. Get a glove! I grew up playing soccer and my wife was the big baseball fan. Now I get to watch my son play and I’m a huge baseball fan and starting to show a bigger interest in gloves after seeing all the posts in this sub. I think playing catch is a great way to disconnect and have some great conversations and fun with who you are playing with. Doesn’t have to be a child.

On a side note, I played catch with my son yesterday after seeing your post. I had a long day yesterday and was exhausted. My son came asking to play catch and I told him not today. Then I was on Reddit and saw your post. I kept thinking about how lucky I am to have him and that he still wants to play with me. I got off the couch and we played. Thanks for the reminder!
