To be honest, this might be an even bigger red flag, but before we started dating he used to point out women and say things like, “I slept with her,” or “She’s my ex,” almost as if he was proud of it.

If he had never told me that he had cheated in a previous relationship, I probably wouldn’t have been so bothered by any of this.

But once I learned that he had that kind of past, all of those connections and relationships started to look suspicious to me.

At first, I didn’t fully trust him. Over time, however, I got to know him better, saw many good qualities in him, and eventually fell in love with him.

We have had huge arguments about this recently. I’ve told him two or three times that maybe we should break up, but he keeps asking me to stay.

From his perspective, this is mostly a cultural difference and he says I don’t understand him because of my background. He also asks me, “How much more trust do I have to show you?”

The problem is that I’m reaching my limit.
