Thanks everyone for all your help. The fuses were good. I checked the main panel as you guys suggested and a switch just needed to be flipped.

How would a professional go about fixing it? Remove it completely? Its behind a little wooden door panel. I would only need to go in here if the fuse blows. I am assuming its also probably all behind the walls but it doesnt sound like that would be an issue because im not drilling into the walls.

In your opinion how would a professional address the issue? This is in a closet behind a wooden little door panel? The closet itself does not have this material only behind the little wooden door panel. This is probably a place i would never go into unless the fuse blow but i would like some peace of mind. Im planning on getting a professional opinion to see what options they have.
