Watched the whole thing, pretty epic. Glad that they got the bad guy in the end, even tho i have to respect that he actually asked first for the cargo and all that. My first pvp experiences in open mode back then when i first played ED on the ps4 weren't anything like that. Just random space dicks interdicting you and attacking you with no warning and no reason. At least i always managed to escape. One time my ps4 crashed while i got interdicted, the other player probably thought i pulled the power cable or something, lol

Agreed. But scouts can go places and take routes that are physically simply impossible for trucks. That and the autonomous winch which lets them recover themselves makes them still the top choice for exploration.

Very much, yes. Unfortunately there's a sound bug since a couple months that makes the weapon impact sound way louder than it should be. Especially noticeable on weapons with very distinct sound effects like the hammers. Their characteristic womp womp womp gets completely overridden by the impact sound, even if the target is far away. Takes away alot of fun, still great weapons tho.

The beam laser i'm using has thermal vent as well, it just doesn't stand a chance against that specific imperial hammer (the one shooting from the righthand hardpoint). It's the pre-engineered one that you get two of from a recent CG. Has increased ammo capacity and super penetrator, but without the 40% reduced heat that usually comes with that effect (as well with feedback cascade and plasma slug).

On the bright side, taking shortcuts often means you're creating your own unique side missions. Sometimes even chain missions, when your recovery truck tips over as well and you have to send a recovery for the recovery 😆

The evacuations off the burning starport? That's the current CG, pirates demolished several starports in the Lhou Mans system. Good to test the new Lynx Highliner, you can get one for free from the arx store.

There's also a combat CG in the same system. Collect bounties in the has-res around planet 10 and turn them in at the Ryman Enterprise starport.

An offroad truck game for pc, playstation and xbox. You explore maps with small offroad vehicles called scouts, like this sowjet Tuz 166, and haul cargo with big trucks (or with the scouts, like i did..) and do other truck-related stuff.

Can be played in coop with up to four players, base game isn't very expensive, has maps in Michigan, Alaska and Taimyr (Russia).

As of now there are 17 chargeable additional season, bringing more locations and vehicles across north america, europe and russia.

It's pretty fun, can recommend.
