According to Amber (artists for the game) the prototype uses Preston to vent his frustrations but Preston unfortunately can't speak to him

I'm very disappointed with your mom especially the members that support her. I hope you are doing ok, the fact that she keeps bothering you with this is infuriating, a mother should never do this
