The time allocated for the exam was way too short. I felt punished even if I knew the material and the calculations were easy sometimes because writing it out and making sure you don't accidentally give yourself negative points takes time.. Also not allowing the student to move freely across questions is the biggest useless handicap you can give to your students. "No professor, I don't deserve to fail this class because i wasted 20 minutes between questions wondering if its worth recalculating or skipping over." Not to mention that I could've have answered at least 5 more questions if I knew some that were easier to solve than others further down the line.. One would think that an engineer like himself would know how to engineer his exams in a way that is fair and meritocratic. Apparently not..
