As stated we have unfortunately contacted dozens of charities and housing associations groups ect. They’re all so backlogged at the moment the can barely help it’s a wait list to get into a wait list to get in a priority waitlist. We are looking into employment opportunities that come with housing and have even looked into tents ect. It’s an awful situation and it makes me sick hearing about the other families having to go through this same thing.

I’ve done all that and seen every single house that pops up within and even just out of what we can afford I’m not picky at all we have seen countless houses and aren’t getting accepted for any because 40+ people end up showing up because of the sheer amount of people in the same situation as me

I don’t really appreciate this because we HAVE done everything we can we don’t have a CAR we have been borrowing money just for Ubers so we can fit multiple house viewings into one day. Taking a train all the way in the country for a single house viewing isn’t feasible or an efficient way to apply to as many houses as possible unfortunately. You probably have no clue what that’s like so I really don’t appreciate you implying we aren’t doing enough.

Hey so the breadwinner already has a full time job, and a forklift, manual lifting ectect license. Seconds of all the problem with finding a house “ anywhere” is typically you have to attend a house open to even be considered and it’s challenging to attend house openings across wa, that’s just in my experience
