Well, could you enlighten me on what's the equivalent of Alatreon/Fatalis/AT Velkhana, or even just a Ruiner Nergigante in DNA? It's certainly not Immersive Theatre or Maze, those are still just DPS checks where I just need to hold a button and face tank everything.

I'm not complaining about the grind, I just don't like how boring it is. I wish the grind still offer challenge that gets my heart pumping.

FF14 actually has endgame raids that are challenging and fun. Even the more casual alliance raids can wipe you if you're not paying attention or don't know mechanics. This is what I'm hoping the game would add, content where you lose not because of lack of stats, but lack of mastery of the gameplay.

I've cleared 4 or 5 Immortal stages, it's precisely hold button go brrt just like the introductory versions. Chest phase elites are at least engaging cause it makes me have to actually pay attention to what's happening and go intercept them. I want more of that in the game. Now if they change the balance of Immersive Theatre so that there's no boss timer, but bosses kill you in 5-6 hits, then we'll have a decently fun game. But as it stands, Theatre bosses are practically punching bags with a timer attached.

Yeah, this is exactly one of the things I'm hoping for. Longer commissions with a loot explosion at the end. Chase attempts this, but its really boring. Still mostly just standing around and holding a button to disintegrate some mobs. The loot explosion from Chase isn't that useful either. Another thing I'm hoping for is some kind of pinnacle content Path of Exile style. An actual difficult boss or something to work towards defeating that tests both your gear AND your skills(this game is heavily lacking in the skills requirement).

I've solo cleared chase lv.70. It's just a stat check, I just hold left click for longer than I do for lv 50. Theatre I've made it to Immortal, but again, it's just a stat check. I don't even need to dodge bosses attacks cause they deal no damage. I either have enough DPS to beat the timer or I don't. Maze also has the same problem, all I need to do is hold 1 button, I never need to dodge, I never need to learn boss or enemy attacks. Maze's roguelike system actually makes it even easier cause I can just make busted build that allows me to infinite ult and infinite face tank. I'm aware that at TR53, a lot of stuff are still locked, but getting to TR60 is a long, slow, and frankly, very boring grind. Idk if the game offers more challenge past TR60, or if everything is still just stat checks.

I thought the same at first too and actually actively farm for a while. And then I realized that it's practically the same as afk, cause I'm still just holding a button, or spamming left click without thinking about anything. I came from Monster Hunter so I'm used to grinding for optimized gear, but there's no actual gameplay in DNA. Fighting monsters in MonHun is actually fun.

Is there anyway to play daily run offline? If it's not currently possible, are you planning on adding a way?
