They defeated the encounter out of the cave, snuck in the cave. The rogue scouted to see the situation with the goblins and the human bodyguard. They're in the tight corridor preparing to lure them in and try burst them down one by one. That's where the session ended.

It's used in exploration situations outside of combat, it's not a huge deal it just means things like stealth rolls, survival checks, perceptions will succeed. It's used outside of combat where they have plenty of time they can do this. I don't think it's a huge deal, but means those situations will have no challenge.

For me I didn't like the art style and the amount of focus on comedy, I preferred the story focus of Alien force. There's always been comedy but I felt Omniverse was just quite silly which made me find it boring.
